|Craftsmanship||1-During the summer, the flock of sheep is sheared of its winter wool.
2-The wool is cleaned, rinsed and beat against the rocks to cleanse it of a year’s worth of wear. Then the wool kept drying in the summer sun.
3-Our women weavers spin the wool into long strings of yarn using their own hands, shins, and wooden dowels.
4-the yarn is either left as natural or dyed using natural pigments and then returned to the shop where it is strung onto looms.
5-The long process of weaving a design starts. Each woman works on a rug from start to finish. This can take well over a month of tying knots.
6-The finished rugs are then cleaned with water, scrubbed clean, and let to dry under the sun.
|Authenticity||Our Moroccan rug is handmade and unique and cannot be copied. Even if the same weaver tries to recreate it, the lines, colors, structure…will never be the same since the handmade process is not perfect and involves; not only the skill of weaving but also the mood and feelings of the weaver.
Imperfection is perfect when it comes to handmade Moroccan rugs.
||Vacuum regularly on a low power setting, and better vacuum without a beater brush as it may cause damage.
Remove spills immediately. If liquid, blot with a clean, un-dyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible.
For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended.

It takes 1 to 3 days to process your order. Once your payment is cleared, we make your order ready for shipping: the item is cleaned and inspected for the last time and packed to prevent any damage during the shipping.

Within the USA: It is very rare when a package is lost and most of our products are insured. We will provide you with a tracking number and we will work with you and the carrier in case of an issue. We can resend the similar item or refund full money depending on your choice and items availability. Outside the USA: Most of our products are insured. We will provide you a tracking number for your order, and work with you and the carrier in case of an issue. Your order might be held in the customs and it is more likely it is still on its way. If your package is confirmed to be lost in the mail (requires carrier confirmation), we will refund your money if the item did not arrive in 60 days. Please reach out to us, and we'll review the shipment and assist you to track it down.
If you need to return an item for any reason, we accept returns made within 7 days of receipt. Please be advised that if the reason for returning the item is a defect, or damage or a problem from our side (like sending the wrong item); we will send you a return shipping label to cover shipping costs and refund the full amount to you. So far, the need for this has been very rare. If the item is not damaged or has a defect, but you need to return it for any other reason; we will be happy to accept your return but you will have to pay return shipping costs and 15% fees, and the item needs to be returned to us within 14 days of delivery in the same condition it was sent in the first place. We have full trust in your judgment when an item needs to be replaced or returned.
